"McAuley Freelance Writing began as a blog in the living room of Founder Anne McAuley's condo in Chandler, Arizona in 2009. We have grown into being a provider of freelance writing and social media services for small business owners. In August 2010 Anne was kicked out of corporate America and has never looked back. While in career transition she was referred to Career Connectors and began volunteering as a blogger recapping the weekly events. What began as a hobby then volunteer opportunity quickly turned into a business after hearing Wendy Kenney of 23 Kazoos, LLC speak about Creating Your Personal Brand at a Career Connectors event in October 2010.

When Wendy took the stage and said, 'Today is the last day of your job search. You are the CEO of YOU. What are you the founder of?'

Anne knew her path and declared herself the founder of McAuley Freelance Writing. The rest, as they say, is history.

Anne has been working with Wendy Kenney part-time since December 2010 while also developing her business. She counts Wendy as one of her valued mentors. Networking is a powerful tool.
