Program participants are exposed to a variety of positions including Competitive Assessment, Customer Relations, Marketing on Major Campaigns, Strategic Development, Advanced Systems Staff, Acquire Business Center, and the Washington, D.C. Office. Responsibilities and deliverables could include the following: Support strategic development activities, development of marketing and/or capture plans, business capture strategies, proposal development for an active campaign or implementation of a contractual obligation. Contribute to major competitor profile development and work as a campaign specialist, author or book boss on an IDS pursuit. Provide solo visit and special event coordination and participate in Air & Trade shows. The Marketing & Sales Rep Manager Level L develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, key stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of approaches, products and processes. Leads, develops, and motivates employees and first-level managers. Supervises the development and assembly of data to support management reviews. Partners with the lead negotiator throughout the business negotiation process to secure customer and vendor commitments. Obtains commitment and approval from internal stakeholders to support changes during the negotiation process. Utilizes detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to recommend areas of alignment and integration. Leads assigned sales and campaign activities by contributing to the development of strategies and tactics with minimal guidance. Analyzes and uses reports metrics related to campaign status. Leverages company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage, and foster business growth by developing a detailed understanding of specific Boeing products and services, process and operations, and resources. Leads customer meetings, driving to the development of customer solutions. Supervises the evaluation of alternatives and makes recommendations to senior management. Manages the preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, executive summary and pricing to ensure customer requirements are met and to improve our competitive position. Monitors proposal status to ensure timely responses. Reviews the final draft materials. Manages the development of strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment. Gathers and analyzes relevant information (e.g., political environment and competitive assessment) from internal and external sources to support strategy development and alignment across the Boeing enterprise.
