Want to be involved in the next huge business for Xbox? Want to create it? Join a new product team, part of the Xbox LIVE group that's responsible for creating a completely new way for mainstream audiences to consumer and enjoy the Xbox and LIVE service.

We're building the games, the console interface and logic, and the server support for all of this. Both the games and the dashboard experience will be deeply paired with dynamic server support to create a compelling, fresh scenario each time. We're a small, entrepreneurial team working together to get things done very quickly in an agile environment. If you want to work in a space where you'll get all the responsibility you can swallow, and run as fast as you can, this team is for you.

We are actively seeking a bad-ass game designer to lead the design and development of an entirely new category of gaming experience on Xbox! Working closely with an experienced game development team, the game designer will be responsible for dreaming up original game concepts and mechanics, creating/maintaining design documents, tuning prototypes, and working cross-discipline to deliver entertaining and engaging games.

All candidates should...
* Be passionate about entertainment and game design
* Have great ideas for new interactive entertainment experiences
* Appreciate casual/social games and audiences
* Possess excellent product and user interface design instincts
* Be solid communicators, with clear and enthusiastic verbal skills
* Have exceptional written communication skills
* Feel comfortable designing within the constraints of existing IP
* Understand the general technical feasibility of design ideas
* Work effectively in a collaborative team environment
* Have shipped 2 or more games (preferably casual type games)
* Be experienced (6+ years of relevant industry experience)
* Have experience developing for a game console

The best candidates could also...
* Be capable of creating interactive prototypes
* Have video/television production experience
* Be a creative writer
